JOHNSTOWN JETS HOCKEY 2013-2014 – TAKING FLIGHT!!!!!

The Johnstown Jets Amateur Hockey Development Program is proud to announce its tryout information for the 2013-14 season.  Entering its sixth season, the Jets strive to provide the finest amateur hockey program in the area.  For this season, the program will expand to incorporate more opportunities for players of all ages.

The Jets want to make sure that every squirt and pee-wee aged players will have the opportunity to participate on a Jets Team for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. The Jets can not make a guarantee of a roster position; however, every effort will be made to create as many squirt and pee-wee teams needed to ensure the players have the opportunity to participate on a Jets Travel Team.

Tryouts will be held on the following dates at PLANET ICE SKATING CENTER. ….

Squirts (Birth Years 2003-2004)

Monday, April 8^th 5:40-6:40pm

Wednesday, April 10^th 6:00-7:00pm

PeeWees (Birth Years 2001-2002)

Monday, April 8^th 6:50-7:50pm

Wednesday, April 10^th 7:10-8:10pm

Bantams (Birth Years 1999-2000)

Tuesday, April 9^th 7:05-8:35pm

Thursday, April 11^th 7:05-8:35pm

Midget U16 (Birth Years 97-98)

Tuesday, April 9^th 8:45-10:15pm

Thursday, April 11^th 8:45-10:15pm

Midget U18 (Birth Years 95-96)

Wednesday, April 10^th 8:20-9:50pm

Friday, April 12^th 6:10-7:40pm

Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged as the more the evaluators see you, the more accurate placement can be made.  Please notify a member of the Jets’ organization if unable to attend a session.

REGISTRATION – All players can Pre-Register for the tryouts via the Jets’ website at www.johnstownjets.net by downloading forms at the bottom of this page.  If not pre-registering,  players must present payment and registration form at time of arrival on the night of their first session.  Any outstanding balances from previous seasons must be resolved prior to allowing a player to participate in the tryout sessions.  Pre-Registrations can be sent to PO Box 5153;  Johnstown, Pa. 15904

COST – Two checks will be presented at the time of arrival prior to the first tryout session.

1) $35 check payable to “Johnstown Jets” for non-refundable tryout fee if you did not pre-register before March 30^th for $25

2) $250 commitment fee check payable to “Johnstown Jets”.

The $250 commitment check will be returned if player is not offered a roster spot or if position is declined prior to a deadline of 24 hours from team posting. Anything after 24 hours is non-refundable.

PLAYER SELECTION – Tryout results will be posted online for Squirts, Peewees, Bantams and U16 via the player’s pinnie number at 11:59pm Thursday, April 11th on the Jets’ website; www.johnstownjets.net.

Tryout results for U18 will be posted via the player’s pinnie number at 11:59pm Friday, April 12^th on the Jets’ website; www.johnstownjets.net.
